It’s good to have you here!
I’m Louise Duffy Stevenson, a licensed professional counselor and EMDR therapist based in Newark, Delaware.
I work with adults navigating grief, trauma, and life transitions that continue to have an impact over time. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, yet still find themselves caught in familiar emotional or relational patterns.
My approach integrates psychodynamic therapy and EMDR to explore how past experiences continue to shape your emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we take a closer look at what’s beneath these patterns so that change can begin to feel possible—often bringing greater clarity, self-compassion, and a bit more ease over time, along with a clearer sense of how you want to respond moving forward.
A bit more about me…
Outside of my work, I value time to slow down, being part of my community, swimming, and yes—chocolate.
If this feels like a place you’d like to begin, you’re welcome to reach out.
