It’s good to have you here!
I’m Louise Duffy Stevenson, a licensed professional counselor and EMDR therapist with over 20 years of experience.
Over the years, I’ve worked in a range of settings, including the VA, substance use treatment, and community mental health. I’ve supported adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions—experiences that continue to inform a steady and thoughtful approach to my work.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. Many of the people I work with have spent time trying to understand themselves, yet still notice patterns in their emotions or relationships that are difficult to shift. Together, we begin to understand what’s shaping those responses and work toward change in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.
A bit more about me…
Outside of my work, I value time to slow down, being part of my community, swimming, and yes—chocolate.
If this feels like a place you’d like to begin, you’re welcome to reach out.
